Calsense Logo

Calsense takes great passion in pursuing the betterment of society, our employees, our business partners, and the environment. Calsense was founded in Carlsbad in 1986, and has aided the City’s water conservation efforts since 1990 by serving both the Carlsbad Parks and Recreation Department and Carlsbad Unified School District.

Calsense strives to develop the next generation of leaders within the region, particularly in North County San Diego. We participate in several local activities to introduce students to the use of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in water conservation. At this year's Spin for Schools, we'll be showcasing a series of interactive demonstrations to provide children and K-12 educators insights into how devices such as weather, soil moisture, and flow sensors directly result in outdoor water savings.

Together, we hope to raise $80,000 to fund STEM programs throughout Carlsbad Unified School District including:

  • Enhancing music and science in our local elementary schools
  • Retaining a science lab tech at both high schools
  • Ensuring science lab equipment and consumables for hands-on science experiments are available for students
  • Sponsoring robotics teams at all schools and Science Olympiad teams at all middle and high schools

Our team of Calsense Superheroes will ride for a 3-hour outdoor bike-a-thon at the Omni La Costa Resort on Saturday, March 23, 2019. We appreciate any support you can provide with a tax-deductible donation of ANY size.
